Historic Charm, Contemporary Outdoor Living
Old Town is a neighborhood where historic detail meets vibrant city life. Behind its iconic facades lie opportunities for quiet, purposeful outdoor spaces that offer retreat and beauty. Topiarius has spent over 20 years creating landscapes that respect the past while shaping how homeowners live today. Our process is refined, responsive, and focused on long-term value.
Old Town’s architecture provides a rich backdrop for thoughtful landscaping. With compact lots, vertical space, and a mix of old and new construction, outdoor environments must be carefully tailored. We design spaces that balance privacy and openness, structure and softness. Whether updating a rear garden or designing a rooftop terrace, we shape the space to reflect how you live and what the site can support.
Landscape Design That Complements
Creating a Plan and a Vision
We begin by understanding the home’s architecture and how it interacts with the surrounding environment. In Old Town, where history and density meet, this means working with tight lots, defined entryways, and a mix of shade and exposure. Our team creates layouts that allow for movement, layering, and moments of stillness.
We design for the long term. Plant choices are tailored to light, soil, and seasonal interest. Built elements such as planters, paths, and screens are placed with care to maintain proportion and clarity. Every design is guided by how the space will be used and how it will feel over time.
Construction Built on Experience and Care
Vision Becomes Luxurious Reality
Our construction crews are skilled at navigating the logistical constraints of urban sites. We coordinate access and materials, and manage the process from permitting to final walkthrough. Projects often include custom carpentry, stonework, drainage solutions, and lighting, all installed with attention to detail and material integrity.
We build to reflect the design vision and the context of the home. From structure to finish, each element is executed with craftsmanship and care, ensuring a cohesive, lasting result.
Seasonal Displays That Feel Integrated and Intentional
Spring, Summer, Fall, & Winter
Our seasonal rotation services bring color, texture, and definition to the landscape throughout the year. Spring bulbs, summer annuals, autumn foliage, and winter greens are planned to feel cohesive and well-timed. We work with your site’s microclimate to ensure each installation is positioned for success.
Our displays are designed to evolve naturally with the seasons. Transitions are smooth, maintenance is minimal, and every change supports a consistent sense of care.
Maintenance That Keeps Your Landscape Clear and Comfortable
Signature Care
We maintain outdoor environments with consistency and precision. Regular services include pruning, turf care, fertilization, and seasonal cleanups. Additional options such as irrigation checks, lighting adjustments, and surface cleaning are available to keep every element performing well and looking its best.
We adapt our routines to how the landscape evolves. This ensures that the space maintains its integrity and continues to support your lifestyle over time.
